P.J. Fleck on struggling offense: 'This isn't backyard football'

Hope you're wrong with regards to Penn State too 😉

    "Simulating brandishing a weapon" penalty

Looking at the video, I think PJ was yelling at the ref about exactly that based on the pantomime he did. I wonder if there were USC players who did that and didn't get called.

Predict the Score Thread: Minnesota at UCLA

UCLA hasn't scored more than 17 points this season, and we will be the second best defense overall that they have faced (Penn State beats us out at #4 total defense vs us at #5, and they just played today). 34 - 9 Gophers

POST GAME THREAD: GOPHERS BEAT USC!!!

They've done it since the Penn State win in 2019 I think? Had too many times where the students try to storm the field through the band pit and it's a safety issue.

BTN just said that Fleck thinks the Gophers are the best 2-3 team in the country.

I would say we definitely are the best 3-3 team in the country

    How many wins are left????

It all depends on if we start to use up-tempo on offense as our primary play calling scheme. We nearly came back from being down 3-21 vs a top 15 team by switching to go up-tempo. If we stick with that I see us winning against the rest of the unranked opponents on the schedule (UCLA, Maryland...

    Most undisciplined team since BrewCrew

I don't think the team as a whole in undisciplined. Honestly, if you remove all of the false starts from the center I think this feels on-par with previous seasons.

    How's Koi doing?

He's doing great IMO and I think we're just going to see more of him on the field in the second half of the season. He's going to have a great career here, only downside is I 100% expect him to leave early for the NFL. I hope I'm wrong and he's one of those players who wants to exhaust their...

    A huge concern

The first drive of the Michigan game, we had some good running. What happened as the game went on to cause that to quickly go away? Did the Michigan DL adjust? Did our OL get tired? Did we stop calling those running plays in favor of other running plays? Did our RBs get tired/banged up? I...

Will Fleck "change his best" or has his boat sunk here?

Someone changed their best in the second half and it showed. Was it PJ? Or the OC? Someone else? Hard to say. Whoever it was, should keep that change moving forward and we might salvage the season from complete ruin.

MN v MI Post Game Thread: Gophers Ball Out in 2nd Half

If we played the 1st half like we did the second half we win that game. Which switched to a more up tempo offense, which prevented Michigan's defense from subbing out, which tipped the scales in favor of our OL, which improved the pass protection and allowed Brosmer to execute. Good adjustment...

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT MICHIGAN BATTLE FOR THE LITTLE BROWN JUG IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Defense needs to come up big with a fast 3 and out of a takeaway. We have no time.

I don't think we have enough time, I hope I'm wrong. We might lose this game by 3 because we can't get that ball back in time.

Fuck, worrisome. Broken collarbone? Dislocated shoulder? He might be out for the rest of the season.

But he also didn't seem to be in a lot of pain? Are there lower leg injuries that can be severe but not super painful?

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT MICHIGAN BATTLE FOR THE LITTLE BROWN JUG IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

I think they have injuries on their OL or something

I saw that holding clearly on the broadcast. More evidence of poor OL coaching.
