What’s frustrating is the way the Gophers are playing

Very reminiscent of the NDSU game, just a very flat performance so far after a hot start. Don’t seem to be running any type of offense at the moment. Hope they get their act tog soon.

Agree, team looked well prepared and for the most part handled OSU heralded press well. I also agree that this was one of their best efforts this season, too bad it was a loss. Should also be mentioned that Rose has put together a couple of good games.

Spirited effort, they played like they weren’t intimidated and went toe to toe with them for most of the game. Missed some fast break opportunities and some lay ups, hopefully learn how to finish. Really liked Battle’s game tonight too bad fouls caught up to her, like her running the point over...

According to Charle Crème’s latest Bracketology, I wasn’t too far off as he is projecting 9 BIG teams in the tourney, more than any other conference including the SEC. tough year for the baby Gophers to grow up but a great learning opportunity as well.

BIG is gonna be rough this year. It’s gonna be hard for Gophers to move up. I think Illinois, Penn St., MSU, Purdue are all better than advertised at the beginning of the season. Wouldn’t be shocked to see 8 teams make it into the tournament that is if ESPN allows it. Yes that’s me being snarky...

This game was not lost on officiating but I do think the calls were a little one sided. I still think Braun gets fouls more than what gets called. Hopefully she doesn’t get frustrated but rather motivated moving forward. Still liking this team, they just haven’t had a game where everything connects.

One other positive today was Rose passing out of a double team which I believed led to an open 3 pt shot. Was one of her best games of her young career. Oberg giving valuable minutes as well.

Braun doesn’t get the benet of foul calls

As the Star/Trib pointed out in today’s preview that the lulls this team gets in, it is harder to climb out of when playing BIG teams. Maryland’s press has been difficult for the Gophers. I hate to see what OSU press does to them.

Katie B have a hard time with the press. I hope Braun can find her shot again, been missing the past few games.

I’ve been impressed with Oberg passing the last couple of games seems to have developed a nice connection with Heyer.

Was nice to see the contributions from the bench including the vets. Hoping Rose can get out of her funk during the rest of the non conference schedule. They are fun to watch.

Oberg giving them some good minutes. Maybe start her second half to save Rose from fouling out? Be interesting to see how they respnod in the second half. They’re not giving up that’s for sure

Didn’t Katie B realize time was running down at the end of the quarter? Getting looks but not going in. Clark is a good player but her constant whiny gets tiresome
