I've watched EP this year. Their front OL is massive and they have a number of RBs. Their QB is an accurate passer and an above average runner. EP is weak on the perimeter on defense and their intermediate pass defense, 10-20 yards, is suspect. I expect them to make the Final two come November.

How about a transformational idea. Take the top 16 6A and divide into two groups, North/South, East/West, I don't care. Each Group/Division would have seven games in their Group. IN ADDITION, they would be allowed to schedule two games outside Minnesota. ND, SD, Iowa, WI, IL?, Kansas? on a home...

Michigan coaches had the better game plan and 2-3 deep on offense, defense, and special teams.

The EP at Minnetonka game was three games within one. The first half was dominated by EP and they led 21-0. Tonka must have received a motivational speech at half time as they dominated the third quarter, cutting the lead to 21-14. EP put the game away in the fourth quarter with a drive taking...

Big matchup tomorrow night. EP at Minnetonka. All of EP's OL road graders are healthy so Tonka has to bring their A game to be competitive. Weather shouldn't be a factor.

Lets just play the damn football game and see what happens. Given some of the comments by fellow GopherHolers, we shouldn't even show up....the why bother group. You never know until you play the game.

Recognize that it's a game. It's not open heart surgery where the outcome can influence a family forever. After a game, even a game with unfortunate injuries the bulk of which players recover from, the sun comes up the next day. Faith and family. Your job. Your interests should kick in.

I'm sick of all the negativity expressed about the Michigan game. You play a game to see who wins. The Gophers have an opportunity (oops, that's a Fleckism); the Gophers are playing against a strong opponent. Lets see who plays the best and wins the damn game. No more of the "we're going to lose...
