Seems like a lot of guys here are confused. He's playing. He's the kick return man and the punt returner. He's on coverage teams. He's playing some on defense and they have already shown they have a blitz package for him. He will soon be ready to start at safety and play full time on D.

The root problem is needing better players. Fixing the root cause of the poor OL play is to put better players on the field. That is not going to happen this year. Going up tempo is not a bandaid, it's a strategy.

What's overlooked is that high tempo offense is vulnerable to mistakes. Bad formations, movement, missed snap counts ... Notable under Brosmer and Harbaugh is that we are running the up tempo offense with very few mistakes. They've worked on it in practice and Brosmer knows how to handle it...

And wasted time outs to avoid delay penalties.

Darius Taylor catching 13 passes in a game is pretty much extending the running game to the edges. He caught a few downfield, which shows he is a good receiver, but the majority were long handoffs.
