    ROCK BOTTOM HAS BEEN ACHIEVED

I thought we have far less issues if it was any other gaurd than Mike Mitchell getting hurt. Gaurds in CBJ’s system take some seasoning before they really show. And while that learning process is going on they tend play like trash. At least IMHO, that showed with Patterson, Asuma, and...

    ROCK BOTTOM HAS BEEN ACHIEVED

I felt they started out driving hard inside. Drew a few fouls very early. Let’s say first 5 mins. Never got paid off. They adjusted away from that and I think that is where it went off the rails. No off ball movement. Lazy passes, floating in space. Not recognizing the double teams quick...

***OFFICIAL NORTH TEXAS AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

No movement without the ball. The Gopher started out drawing fouls. The passing is pathetic. telegraphed garbage.

***OFFICIAL ORAL ROBERTS VS MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Curious for more details. What specifically did you think and why the change? I.e. what did the players say that brought that about?

All Things Immaculate Grid-related (MLB, NBA, NFL)

I was also thinking Grenberg, and then thought maybe less people know kaline. Also considered Rocky Colavito, but wasnt totallt sure if he hit 30 or not with Det. Turns out he smashed that. Might have been a good one because most people probably think of him in Cleveland.

All Things Immaculate Grid-related (MLB, NBA, NFL)

Mine was Al Kaline did not hit 30 for the Tigers. 29 twice. Such an easy franchise to guess too. I pivoted to Norm Cash, but dang.

No. 1 recruit AJ Dybantsa is expected to land an NIL package north of $3M and could get as high as $4M. BYU prepared to pay “4 to $4.5M"

I used to be a CPA and got a chance to see the College Football industry numbers a few years back. I think it was 2018, anyhow it was right on the heels of NIL. The industry lost over a billion dollars that year. What’s more, a significant portion of the Revenue were from “Donor fees,” which...

All Things 2024-25 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

One of the issues was not boxing. I remember austin reeves having multiple rebounds where a body ensures the one of multiple taller Twolves get the ball.

Minnot would have been nice to see. Randle aint fragile. He looked physically tired the whole game. From his eyes, to his posture. No shame in that energy off the bench - as long as its earned.

All Things 2024-25 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

At first I was thinking Detoilet was just that. They have improved quite a bit. That pick might convey as a 1st rdr. They are one of the 10 worst still, but they may push for the last play in spot in the east. A lot better chance that pick conveys as a 1st, than I gave credit for initially.

    "Simulating brandishing a weapon" penalty

How about quoting Keith Millard? I think it was him when the cops busted in with a warrant; Keith flexes and says “my arms are more powerful than your guns!”

    "Simulating brandishing a weapon" penalty

Axes are for fighting fire. Gophers get the axe - lives are saved! Badgers get the axe - look out babies. Bunch of creeps.

I was about to make that same point. Historically the NBA was like that. It went away a long time ago. Unless of course one is playing against a “chosen” player. Then, it’s even less physical.
