Yeah, all of our locker-rooms had low concrete ceilings as they were in the bowels of the school. Our wrestling practice room had only 8' high concrete beam ceilings and occasionally a guy would scrape his head on a lift.
I can still smell that room.
NO ONE knew the last FG would happen. At that point in the game going for 2 was 100% the correct call. You would be hard pressed to find a football coach that wouldn't. It was even on Butthead's chart.
Jackson is taught to do that on purpose. Did anyone watch the game or the play? They talked about it for a long time. I'm going to start a thread called (geezus!?!) "Daniel Jackson" to discuss it.
What they didn't count on was that Kaliakmanis is a great practice QB and an average to poor game QB. You'll never find out until it's too late.
When you never get pressured or tackled in practice and then think the game will be the same you will fail. It was almost like a touch-football QB...
I really miss St. Louis U and US International...
I agree though, other than NoDak, I don't miss the other teams. We play UMD and St. Cloud often enough for me to not miss the rest at all.
Thanks for your "Minnesotan" response, then your cohorts jump right in. Geezus. Must be hard for you folks to enjoy life. Relax and enjoy the ride.
So how about that Brosmer, huh?
Lee Hutton is the obvious choice. Former Gopher and he’s run a very successful pro football league…
