No way Gophers get the W without Hawk even though this was not his best game. Carrington was star #2 with a solid game followed by Christie. Fox also provided huge energy and toughness when needed. Gutty performance and W even though our two leading scorers only had 13.

This is the year that we establish the foundation for next year. IF everyone returns I believe we only loose Fox and Wilson and get better adding Asuma and Grove. Year four on paper should be Ben's best squad and able to compete for a top 1/3 of the BIG spot. My prediction was a 17-15 season...

Mitchell and the Hawk have really adjusted their game the past month. Gotta give Ben and staff credit for that as well.

I have been looking for it since the last 7-8 games when it became apparent that the Gophers have trouble defending the drive. I'm not a big zone guy but with the right players it can be effective. With II and Fox on the floor and resting Hawk it makes sense and it also gives us some length...

Many of the BT squads have warts, Gophers included. IMO, the biggest one for the M/G is our perimeter D. But I think we have enough talent to beat enough BT's to make the NIT.

B4 the season started I thought we would get enough W's to make the NIT. Still think that way. I picked 7 and 8 at best and still the same.

I picked the Gophers for the NIT. So far on schedule. Now the dirty work has to get done.

We were in the same boat. I did not enjoy my HS English classes and the teachers. My bad, not theirs. Now I wish I would have had a better attitude back then. I finally recovered from my ill-advised HS choices while in college.
