Everyone can argue all you want about the decision to pull Ryan but if the Twins could just hit some bum from a bad team and be winning 6-0 instead of 2-0 there wouldn't be a problem. This lineup is loaded with a bunch of guys who all tend to play well the same game and then all go cold for...

Yeah if you're going to put out this kind of a lineup you might as well just forfeit and give everyone a day off. How does Maeda even pitch knowing its a guaranteed loss?

Never thought I'd say this but thank God the Vikings have been around to give that hope once a decade.

Yeah I think with him you could almost gamble on bringing up someone like Woods-Richardson and just seeing if he can get you similar numbers for way less money

Yep I agree. It's why I left him off my initial list.

That gives us a pretty solid "long term" rotation of Lopez, Ryan, Paddack, Ober. That isn't a bad group to work with. You have some younger guys coming as well as free agency, trade, or extending someone like Sonny a bit longer to fill the last spot or two if someone gets hurt or sucks.

Finch was on with PA and he said something about how the coaching staff (before the fight) had been telling the players to hold each other accountable and call each other out. Sounds like Anderson was doing what they asked only he pushed it over the line a bit.

They're professional athletes who get to stand around the free throw line every other possession and get a TV timeout constantly. I agree they need breaks but in my opinion the NBA sits their stars for a rest too much as it is. No starter should play less than 40 minutes a game unless they're...

Or a lack of money implying kids can't afford them? That's a touchy subject and I think it deserves a follow up conversation and possible firing.

All Things Minnesota Timberwolves 2022-2023 In-Season Thread

All things considered an OT loss is about as good as you can expect, the problem is having ANOTHER 15 point lead fairly late into a game and blowing it. These late game collapses are keeping us from ever being a top 4 team in the west, cost us a playoff series last season, and cost us the game...

Whatever the reason they quit driving to the basket they quit driving to the basket...you aren't getting free throw attempts by turning the ball over every other possession or jacking up stupid 3's. Even if they hadn't gotten all the calls the lakers did they would have certainly generated more...

All Things Minnesota Timberwolves 2022-2023 In-Season Thread

The Wolves weren't going to shoot ANY free throws by playing "hold the ball at the top of the key and jack up some bullshit shot as the shot clock expires" basketball. They abandoned any type of offense for half of the 4th quarter including driving to the basket and attempting a shot which...
