    Fantasy Sports Talk

I did fantasy baseball for years and loved it so much more than football. Loved getting mlb.tv every year and watching games from 6-12 every night just because you might have that closer come in during a west coast game. Unfortunately I haven't played in a while now and our league wasn't a...

Doesn't look like he's played much in the last 3-4 years so my guess is he'll be gone after the 10 day contract.

RandBall: Pessimism? Nah. Now the best Gophers teams can compete in College Football Playoff

But this brings me back to another question though...does a 10-2 gopher team (and not just MN let's say a 10-2 Maryland, Purdue, Northwestern, Illinois, etc.) get in over a 9-3 Alabama in a down year for them?

RandBall: Pessimism? Nah. Now the best Gophers teams can compete in College Football Playoff

I don't know...I can see a 10-2 gopher team getting left out behind another 10-2 Big Ten team who doesn't get into the Big Ten Championship, a 10-2 SEC team not in the SEC championship, or even a 9-3 SEC team. You think we're getting in if we have the same record as Michigan, Oregon, Penn St...

I wish they would bring in Trevor Bauer for a very friendly deal. Worst that happens is there is a media shit storm. Best that happens is we have a very good pitcher with a media shit storm.

All Things 2023-2024 Minnesota Twins Off-Season Thread

The Twins hardly ever get their high end pitching prospects to the majors. Think of what we could have gotten for Jordan Balazovic two years ago. Remember when Stephen Gonsalvez was a top 50 prospect in baseball? I do and where is he now? Alex Meyer was our #1 prospect for a few years and a...

This team will be very lucky to be a 4 seed. At the start of the season I'd have taken a 4 seed but man are they difficult to watch right now.

All Things 2023-2024 Minnesota Twins Off-Season Thread

that's what i'd do. my guess is they are planning to use the cash to target a right handed bat and then target pitching via another trade. The right handed bat would be a DH/1B against lefty pitchers but I'm wondering if they can't just try out Miranda in that role and use the money saved on...

I'm not disagreeing about that take at all i just don't know what the wolves can do about that haha. Personally the only moves they should make if they make any at all would be to dump milton and brown and just get in two pieces who are at the same level. Maybe the new guys can hit a shot when...

All Things 2023-2024 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

The wolves really will only be able to swap out milton type of players for another guy at the same level or trade anderson and milton for a slightly better JMac. Neither will move the needle a whole lot and will just be making moves to make moves.

Denver, OKC, and Sacramento all lose last night. I watched some of the Nuggets and the Clippers/OKC games and man...the fact that the Timberwolves have a better record than those three teams is impressive. They all looked very good.
