19 Teams Have A Shot at Earning At-Large Bid to College Football Playoff

I'm assuming BYU is the missing team in the Big XII? I would also consider Army for an at large bid. They could go undefeated, finish as the 6th highest ranked conference champion, and would need (and likely get) an at-large bid since they missed the auto-bid cut.

    Big Ten Title Game Scenarios?

Assuming we win out: We'd need Michigan, Iowa, and Penn State to lose one more game, Ohio State to lose two, then either Oregon loses two or Indiana loses three, could possibly only need two depending on how our opponents records stack up. I could be wrong, but I believe that if those things...

Homecoming Uniforms: Numbers on helmets against Maryland.

I don't think it matters a lot, but I could see a situation where a player is 50/50 between Minnesota and another school and Minnesota having "cooler" uniforms being the thing that pushes them towards Minnesota. Any advantage, even if its very small, helps.

*IF* The Gophers win out, do they make the playoffs?

I personally think it would be a very long shot, but with how this season has gone, I could see a couple 9-3 teams sneak into the playoffs. The one benefit that the Gophers would have over others is that their losses are early in the season so wouldn't be a sour taste on their mouth like a late...

*IF* The Gophers win out, do they make the playoffs?

Projected resume: 9-3 record 7-2 Big Ten record 3-1 vs top 25 (two would be top 11 wins) Blowout loss to Iowa at home 3 point loss to ranked Michigan on the road 2 point loss to UNC in the first game of the year ***Not saying this is likely, just thought it was fun bye week discussion***

What grade would you give Gophers coaches in win over UCLA?

A win on the road in the Big Ten is always great, especially crossing two time zones. However, the game was a lot closer than it should’ve been. Bad first half and the decision to punt with 3 minutes left pushes it to a C for me. Obviously the punt worked out, but UCLA was only a yard away from...

Ugh 16 almost rolled himself into the end zone trying to down the punt. In what universe would you down a punt like that so close to the end zone?
