I think you're probably right. I'm not sure why we're playing "a slow, iso PG dominated offense" right now because it doesn't seem to be serving us well. You could see the benefits of a PG dominated offense when we had Hawkins because he was fast and a wizard with the ball but we don't have a...

Ola Joseph was pretty good down the stretch for Cal in their victory over USC on Sunday. It wasn't so much about scoring as playing hard and doing the blue collar work, including playing defense. I'd say that stretch against USC and his performance last year against Nebraska were the best I've...

Agree that the guards are comparable to the first two years. I liked what I saw from F. Mitchell rebounding the ball in Saturday's game. I think the rebounding will improve if he can stay on the floor. The Gophers definitely won the possessions battle against Yale due to the lopsided turnovers...

I'm going to disagree with you about Frank Mitchell. Based on what I saw against Yale, he's the kind of guy who can make a difference even if he only averages 2-4 points per game. He had 6 offensive rebounds in 22 minutes yesterday. He also takes up a lot of space and he fights for boards...

So, you're a fan of the Gophers' opponents now? I've noticed you making comments like that for a couple of games now. You can always be counted on to take the wrong views.

He made a big difference when he was in. He's got to watch his fouls because he's pretty essential for this team to have any success. He also sets screens well.

Yep, that's how they won this game - extra possessions. Had 55 shots from the field to their 45. Had 26 free throws to their 12. I guess that's how you shoot 36.4% from the field, 17.6% from 3, and 61.5% from the free throw line and still win the game.

    Great defensive possession there.

We are taking care of the ball in this game. We have only two turnovers and have generated 5 steals. Yale has 11 turnovers and only one steal.

Actually, Garcia has been fairly awful in this game. Rigsby is the leading scorer with 8.

Don't misrepresent the situation. Nobody thought he was a good hire.

He averaged 22.7 minutes per game in 36 games last season for Oregon. Why don't you do any research before making claims? It's so easy these days.

I actually wish the guy from Macalaster was healthy. He certainly looked like he could shoot against us in that exhibition.

Reminds me of a quote I heard during a game once: "rebounding like an angry rhinoceros." He sets picks with authority too.
