I'm sure Justin Jefferson would be a great punt returner. But they would never risk that. I remember Anthony Carter doing it but only in the playoffs etc.
Just let teams challenge anything, but make it one renewable challenge. Sure make it clear that holding and pass interference etc will almost never get overturned. And in the last two minutes that should be reviewable.
They ran the most basic run play while pinned on the 3 yard line. It was at worst a marginal decision with horrible luck. It certainly wasn't "incredibly stupid".
It was marginally too tight to kneel. The Minnesota Sports Gods decided we were having too much fun. So a key player gets knocked out for the season on a nothing play.
