Not to belabor the point on Tyler, and I feel bad for the kid, but how did he go from competence in the MAC to complete ineffectiveness on THIS team, in which nearly every other RB is effective? What’s the hitch, here?

Didnt like the choice of prevent D on that drive but it worked out on a really nice D play for the INT. Pretty good overall game otherwise. O line was great. AK was generally good, but one terrible pass. Jordan Nubin showed good promise!

I saw that one too… To their “credit”, they are using this along with the thought that if he wasn’t actually calling for a fair catch, per se, then waving his hand around like an unathletic school kid being a floozy wasn’t illegal. Of course, they are conflating the rules because they haven’t...

This. You can see at least a couple of Gophers explicitly letting up, and then flat footed as DeJean makes his move, reacting late to his surprising take off after motioning that he would not. That’s why the rule is there, as the ability to feign a fair catch signal to get the defenders...

agreed. Crooms displayed good hands this season excepting yesterday. I presume it was just an off day. BSF‘s drops are becoming habit.
