    Be honest!!!

I've said, many times, that Bielema can flat-out coach. I happen to think Fleck is a pretty good coach as well. I think that's the sticking point here. If you look at their career coaching records I don't see Bielema as clearly superior. Bielema failed at Arkansas. In many ways I think he was...

    Be honest!!!

So the reason you'd prefer Bielema over Fleck is because of Bielema's record at Wisconsin?

    Going beyond "ack acka dack"...

KFAN surprised me — twice! — recently by putting out some content out on the airwaves that I actually found interesting. ONE: Barreiro asked Glen Mason (in typical Barreiro fashion) about Fleck's buyout. Mason's answer was concise and unambiguous. It made me nod my head in agreement. I wish...

Lots of negativity on this board for a team that should be 3-1

Sorry. You should ignore me and carry on, doing your thing.

No, not at all. For some, the distant, misty past can be a source of joyful nostalgia. How far back do you want to go in your trip down memory lane?

Lots of negativity on this board for a team that should be 3-1

Woe is us. It all sucks, doesn't it? I mean, what's the point in bothering to draw another breath?

Gophers ICED OUT uniforms against Michigan

There are, I believe, 18 teams in the B1G nowadays. How many of those 18 B1G teams are "competitive" (your word) vs Michigan?

    Be honest!!!

Yes, you would think so. But then, some people tend to react rather than analyze. How many people who answered the question did so based on a pre-conceived notion, rather than simply doing a Google search and comparing coaching records?

Bielema at Illinois: 22-19, 13-15 in the B1G Fleck at Minnesota: 52-36, 29-33 in the B1G. I hope that clears things up for the OP. Can we expect any more questions from the guy with 113 total posts? We're here to help, you know.

I'm waiting for the first Gopher Hole poster to say that Illinois is "mediocre", "not good" or "hideous".

Oh. Good to know. I was simply commenting on the fact that the less-heralded Illinois QB was the guy who actually made the key plays in the clutch, and the Illini won a huge game on the road in front of a hostile crowd. I feel Altmyer deserves at least some recognition. Just a little.

He's "still trying to learn"? The Illinois -Nebraska tllt was a hard-fought, extremely close game. What was the deciding factor? Well, when I looked at the final box score, I noticed one really large disparity: PENALTIES... Illinois: 3-20 Nebraska: 9-89 Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think...

Updated AP Top 25 rankings - Nebraska #23

Good call. Two solid teams, though, and a great game. Fun to watch.

Agree! It was a great game, and the announcers didn't step all over it. They let the players and the game tell the story, and didn't try to turn the spotlight on themselves. Professional!

Interesting. Lots of compliments on Gopher Hole for Raiola, yet not much mention of Altmyer. I thought Altmyer was the guy... at least, he was the guy tonight. I suppose this is why; the 'FauxMahomes' thing...

Gopher Defense led by Hetherman Getting it DONE - Currently 5th in the NATION

I would say last year (5-7, 6-7 with the bowl win) was not a typical season since Fleck took over.

Thanks for posting these, SON. I'm not sure why, but I get a kick out of the uniform reveal every week. Your information is greatly appreciated.

Tennessee to add 10 percent 'talent fee' to ticket prices to raise money to give to players

The coaches? Are you serious? When the various conferences sign huge deals with the TV networks, who gets the money? When the TV networks subsequently sell billions of dollars worth of advertising spots during those college football games, who gets the money? Do the executives at ESPN, FOX...

The program is still trending up, but 2022 was a giant missed opportunity

Well, as I told a different fellow poster on a different thread: I'm sorry your expectations haven't been met. As for me, I'm pretty happy with our direction.
