    A rare opportunity

Minnesota vs USC upcoming. Seeing as how we played a common opponent in the last two weeks, I find this stat comparison pretty interesting: --- Last Saturday, Minnesota lost to Michigan at the Big House 27-24. Just the week before, USC lost to Michigan at the Big House 27-24. --- Minnesota...

Should we be like Iowa fans and get a T-shirt

Thank you. This is the correct answer. I have attended Iowa-Minnesota games and, well... no thanks. Let's just say that what I witnessed was not the type of behavior I would aspire to.

Predict the Score Thread: USC at Minnesota

We need to be two-dimensional on offense. We have to get the run game rolling. Brosmer is to my eye a nice step up from last year. Now let's see if we can open some running lanes for Taylor, Major and the rest.

When will PJ stick up for his team?

I'm pretty sure that Gopher football players know Fleck has their backs.

    Most undisciplined team since BrewCrew

Wow. That sounds awful. I hope the Gopher football program doesn't lose any of our severely disgruntled fans. What would happen if those folks suddenly declared they had finally had enough abuse, and simply walked away? That would be bad. Gopher Hole would be so quiet.

When will PJ stick up for his team?

    Exactly. This guy gets it.

    Brosmer

Taller, faster, bigger arm... the Holy Trinity of superficial QB evaluations.

When will PJ stick up for his team?

Nope. It's spot on, and you know it is.

Who 👃an upset against USC besides me?

There are two aspects of the team that need to improve for the Gophers to beat USC. The offensive line needs to play much better. The silly penalties have to go away. These are two areas in which Fleck's teams have excelled. This gives me hope that they will be addressed.

Is it time to admit PJ (and staff) can coach?

I've never said Fleck was a great coach. I completely, utterly, emphatically disagree with your comments about the quality of the play in this game, by both teams. I saw a team that never quit, and yes, that means something to me. It baffles me that there are folks who post here every single...

When will PJ stick up for his team?

If Fleck complained about this call — or any official's call — in a presser, there are a handful of very vocal Gopher Hole posters who would immediately castigate him for 'making excuses'. So would the KFAN types. If he remains silent about the call, he's not 'sticking up for his players'. His...

Is it time to admit PJ (and staff) can coach?

You keep saying you skip my posts, yet you keep responding to them. How much money did you lose betting against your own team? Karma is a bitch.

Is it time to admit PJ (and staff) can coach?

Actually, Minnesota began to surge when Orji threw an INT on a deep pass. Michigan was up 24-3, then inexplicably threw a deep pass. Minnesota intercepted, the Gopher offense marched down the field and scored to make it 24-10, and the Gophers began to roll. Sorry.

So profound. And, as always, in character!

    AK

14-24 (58.3%), 115 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT Looks pretty much like last season to me. What did all the Gopher Hole offensive coordinators think of the play-calling and overall game plan on offense? 115 yards passing on 24 attempts. 184 yards rushing on 33 attempts.

Mmmmm. Please do a comparison, in your expert opinion, of Mason and his replacement.

    Going beyond "ack acka dack"...

Well, let's see... the Mason stuff was on Bumper to Bumper, and it would have been... Wednesday? I guess I assumed Dan has Mason on the show on the same day every week, but maybe not. To summarize Mason: He was mystified as to why people would be thinking about buying out Fleck's contract. He...
