Hauck from Montana or Leopold from Kansas.

Time to be honest with ourselves...

I’ve been sitting through this since 1988, and we have a chance to grab a hold of the conference and pee our pants. How many apologists does it take for PJ?

Really? BTW in our hands and we pee our pants. Sitting through this since ‘88, yes 1988 and you’re not pissed? Do you care?

AK's bullet on 3rd down to put the game away

I agree. Have the Viotto play or the high school guy from Arkansas next year or a transfer. Running out of patience.

    Fire PJ immediately please

Agreed. Why do we always play not to lose? Are we afraid of being good? Raising the bar to higher level… Oh my god no. Hire Bobby Houck from Montana. At least he’s aggressive and plays to win.

    FIRE OC

Being there was a much different story. You can’t consistently run the ball for one or 2 yards and think you can get eight in the next play. You need to mix it up and not wait until halfway through the fourth quarter to put away an inferior team. We ran the ball 51 times for 201 yards and threw...

    Fire PJ immediately please

You just made my point. Why would you come here if you’re not gonna throw the ball in the first place? Run the ball 40 times game and you’re not gonna get elite wide receivers. Game, set, and match.

You can’t expect to play like that against top-tier competition, and expect to win.

    FIRE OC

Good if you like a snooze fast. Don’t throw the ball on first down. Unimaginative. Were you at the game or just heard about it? Had several opportunities to put these guys away and just let them hang around - just like last week.

    Fire PJ immediately please

After today’s snooze fest against Louisiana, it’s time to fire Harbaugh as offensive coordinator. I know PJ may call the ultimate shots, but Simon needs to be the guy and the only one offensive coordinator. We don’t need to go back to the days of Mike Sanford.

Sorry, I didn’t see this was an old thread. Funny how things circle themselves back around.

    FIRE OC

Absolutely. Harbaugh is an embarrassment. Give Simon the job and get rid of Harbaugh. Simon called a spectacular Outback bowl in 2019 and now we’re reverting back to this crap? Simon is also from Farmington. Who else on the staff really gives a damn about gopher football?

    What is the Problem?

I can take the blame too. Taking the blame and doing something about it are two different things.

    What is the Problem?

You are correct. It’s not identical. We were not running up the middle nonstop. We were mixing it up, running off tackle, running slants, and simple down and outs. We’re doing very little of that stuff this year.

    What is the Problem?

Yes. Sanford is killing Morgan as he regressed last year and his barely keeping his head above water this year. Remember 2019? I know you had two NFL WR’s, but Morgan still had to get the ball to him.

    Never again..

I was. Thanks for bringing up The underachiever, and super regressor, Leidner. Four picks in a game at Wisconsin to win the Big Ten west, yes, that Leidner.

    Never again..

I don’t think we were 30 point favorites against either of those teams. Saturday’s game was beyond pathetic and brought back memories of Jim Wacker (RIP) and Tim Brewster. When you start bringing up those names in PJ’s 5th year something is not right.
  18. T

    What is the Problem?

    Need to fire Sanford, period.
  19. T

    Never again..

Yes, mentally unprepared, but Mike Sanford has been nothing but an enigma since he’s been here. He ruined Jordan Love at Utah State and he’s ruining Tanner Morgan. Check the numbers with Love before Sanford as OC and after. It speaks for itself. You could blame Covid last year, but Morgan...
