Turn on Liberty right now to see a real CFB offense

It’s not the stiffest competition in the world, but 700 yards of offense is impressive not matter how you slice it up. The gophers did not have 700 yards in their last 3 games combined

Turn on Liberty right now to see a real CFB offense

They don’t run a true Triple Option. It’s a more modern offense with different tempos and a varied run attack. Lots of motions and personnel groups. Plenty of quick passing game and RPO’s It’s the opposite of the Gopher offense

Turn on Liberty right now to see a real CFB offense

There’s no chance Chadwell and staff would ever come to Minnesota, but why can’t we run this style (ground and pound Triple Option) offense at Minnesota?

Minnesota Golden Gophers in the NFL - 2023 Season

Man I hope Ibrahim makes the roster and gets at least one NFL contract. That dude deserves it

Thomas Barber has moved from his role as defensive graduate assistant at the U to the nickel backs coach at St. Thomas.

Go Thomas! I really thought played just as well as anyone on that 2019 team…the one with a bunch of current NFL players

    Toughest Gophers of All Time

Lots of good ones but of the recent guys - Kieft comes to mind. Guy was an absolute ass kicker

Dylan Raiola commits to Georgia over Nebraska

That Georgia offense was nasty. They do a lot of creative stuff offensively and it should be very attractive for a high school QB recruit. Their OC (Monken) has moved onto the NFL, but I imagine they keep things mostly the same scheme-wise with Bobo taking over.

STrib: Charge: Armed retired firefighter attacks, hurls racial slur at former Gophers running back, Tellis Redmon

Gosh, Redmon was just as good as any of those RB’s we had during Mason’s run… I’m gonna butcher some of these details, but that kid ran for like 250 yards on 40 something carries against NC State in the micropc.com bowl. Even though we were up by like 20 in the second half, we still lost to a...

MN High School players in the Tourney?

I thought there was usually a thread on this. I watch close to 0 college basketball (just a handful of gophers games) - and it’s always good to know the local kids making an impact in the NCAA tournament. I know this forum is for gophers bball, but I always found this thread helpful in the past...

He didn’t look as fast as advertised in his recruiting video. Looked fairly average against lower competition

All Things 2022 Minnesota High School Football Thread

Yeah I’m really interested in the logistics of this. How did Holy Family convince all 3 of these dudes to come to their school. If Ferguson still lives around Fridley, that’s a reallllly long commute…

    Mike Leach has passed away

Yeah Dana Holgorsen played for Mumme and Leach there as well. There was a good book, The Perfect Pass, written a few years ago that chronicles Leach and Mumme’s rise through CFB over the years. They did some amazing stuff together

    Scott Frost Press Conference

He should go be a coordinator somewhere. I just don’t think he has the personality to be a head coach…I doubt his players like him that much

I imagine kids are pretty tough that come from Gary, Indiana. A couple people got shot at one of the city's High School graduation ceremonies a couple days ago
