Sure, but basketball and football are very different sports. You absolutely see teams go on runs in basketball for multiple minutes at a time that can totally flip a game on its head. That happens far less in football.

lol....why not.....it will work at schools with rabid fanbases that will show up no matter how much the school charges them.....wouldn't work nearly as well at a school like ours or any of the others that already struggle to get fans to buy tickets.

He did go for 240 and 2 TD against Illinois last year but the main thing with him is that in the 4 games he has played significant minutes in his completion percentage is right at 50 and he threw a number of balls against Alabama that should have been picked so he will put it up for grabs...

Unbelievable opportunity for Johnson with Cupp and Puka out for a while. He will draw tougher DBs as he moves up the depth chart but if he can capitalize on this opportunity he could set himself up to keep earning an NFL paycheck for a few more years.

Never want to see anyone go down with a season ending injury no matter what team they play for. Feel really bad for the player. Zero sympathy for the team he plays for though and they are probably in a lot of trouble going forward because Locke is not good.

Sarcasm aside it is pretty high praise for the coach to be mentioning Brown in the same breath as Winfield and Nubin who were phenomenal safeties for us. If Brown can follow in their footsteps that would be awesome for us.

Not sure I see the value of speculating on a player who isn't even in the portal yet but to each their own I guess :) One thing we know for sure if that if the coaches want to bring in a transfer QB there will be lots of them in the portal to go after.
