That would require beating one of Missouri, Ohio State, Michigan or Maryland. Certainly would be an upset. I'd say the best shot is probably at Michigan.
Guess the record for the first 15 games. We play two tournament teams from last year(Missouri and Maryland, both at home). Only two true road games(Ohio State & Michigan), one neutral site game(San Francisco). Worst case scenario has to be 11-4 IMO. Meaning we beat San Francisco and Nebraska...
For reference, last year's OOC schedule was ranked #348 according to the NET. That had 3 top 100 teams. This schedule projects to have ONE. This is by far the worst schedule the Gophers have ever played, and honestly, is one of the worst schedules I can ever remember a P5 team having. The avg...
Schedule absolutely sucks. I'm guessing we'll end up with 9 Q4 games out of 11, which is fucking pathetic. Just go ahead and throw those wins out at the end of the year. If the staff was looking to schedule the worst OOC in the country they succeeded.
At this point, I highly doubt it. Most the schedules getting released had one or two unannounced games, and all of them have been filled with buy games.
Yes, top 25/50 guys are. Even if you want to say Betts is a top 90 recruit, even a lot in that range don't contribute much to a P6 team. Just look at the 2022 class. There is like 2 from 80-100 that contributed. One was at a G5 and the other was on an avg. OSU team.
You expect me to believe he went from a top 100 player, to a player ranked on average 250ish because he reclassified? Like I said, a ton of players have reclassified, and none have seen a drop in their ranking outside of maybe a couple of spots.
What it stubborn or ignorant about providing his ranking of the other recruiting services? Also, I did say I hope Prep Hoops' evaluation is correct. Which is being optimistic. I can't help he isn't highly rated on the other 4 sites.
Why would him reclassifying cause his ranking to drop? There are a ton of players who have reclassified that didn't drop in the rankings. Try to keep up, please.
Given our historically awful OOC, I'd say 19 wins at minimum, which would mean getting 8 B1G wins between the regular season and tournament. If he does somehow lose an OOC game, then he's gotta get to 9 B1G wins. Do I see him getting there? I do not.
