Son moving to Minnesota in August

If he is a Freshman, living in a dorm, is a great way to meet a ton of people. Then in year 2, he can figure out, where and who to live with. Enjoy the U of M.

Car Make and Model that shows someone "settled" when purchasing a car.

The category is kind of vague. I was thinking that anyone who purchased a GM from this timeframe, was lazy and did not do much comparison shopping, and just settled for one of these cars.

Car Make and Model that shows someone "settled" when purchasing a car.

Pretty much any GM car from approx 1980 to 2000. GM took a 20 year corporate nap and many people today will not buy a GM car.

All Things 2022 Minnesota Twins In-Season Thread

It has been an annual event, hoping that Sano can get off to a strong start to a season, and then trade him. But he seems to never get off to a good start.

D-Lo played like a rookie and Ant played like a veteran during the series.

All Things 2021-2022 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

    1) The entire game he was flopping on the ground. I cannot ever recall seeing a 6"11" player who is on the ground as much as KAT. 2) He put his finger up to his mouth to shush the crowd multiple times. 3) As he complained about a call, Memphis pushed the ball down the court, and Memphis...

All Things 2021-2022 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

I'm probably in the minority here, but I wish KAT would stop being so immature during games. Ant is a much more mature person and player than KAT, and it is not even close.

The Vikings should immediately sign that security guard who tackled the protester. Good overall form on that pancake block.

All Things 2021-2022 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

    1) KAT cannot make so many dumb fouls, he thinks he gets fouled on every play. He really needs to step up and stop complaining about every play. 2) Pat Bev is not Steph Curry, and he should not be shooting so much, late in games. 3) I like Chris Finch, but he lost two large leads in that...

    Oberg Coming Home

I have not watched Oberg in college, but I saw a lot of her games in high school. She is not Helgren at all, she will be much better, unless something has happened since her high school days.

    Oberg Coming Home

Great news, I wonder if she considered the Gophers, as a HS Senior?

Gopher 22-23 Transfer Portal Needs/Watch List

Good point, but if her career was over, why she would go into the portal?

Gopher 22-23 Transfer Portal Needs/Watch List

100% on Carr. Taylor Brown is athletic and gives good effort, but she is not going to score much, maybe 5 points per game in the Big Ten. The Gophers should take Grothaus and Ranke, if possible.

Sara Scalia enters the transfer portal

I always wonder about the timing of these portal transfers. Do the players enter the portal, and THEN talk to other schools, OR was there something in place, before they entered the portal?

Mar’Keise Irving enters the transfer portal

Ky did not have the break-away speed, and Bucky was much more elusive. I think Bucky was better, but I did like Ky.

We have good facilities for practice, is Williams arena helpful or detriment?

The seats are too small and have almost zero legroom, but I like the Barn, other than that.
