Mens' basketball is going to go way into the black in the coming years. I foresee a big increase in the popularity of that team.

They're still efforting. This feels so much like the early Clem Haskins days. Compete for a while, play better for a half (or longer) than anyone thought you could, then run out of energy, run out of fouls, run out of players. We're short on bodies this year. Watch the season-over-season...

More than that, he singled out QB as the limiting factor. He said we're an elite QB away from turning things around. But our QB performed well and has a ton of potential. He may even be elite. Our team has other areas to improve that would make a much bigger impact.

The QB position is not the limiting factor for the Gophers at the moment. Pay attention, Bundy, whoever you are.

I love the hustle and the energy. I loved the smile when he dunked against Illinois's big. I love a kid who works his butt off and solves problems, and I'll bet you tree fiddy that he's that kid.
