Freshman PGs often struggle or don't live up to expectations. It's smarter and more prudent to bring in a proven and reliable PG, and let TO be a backup next year. Don't put all your eggs in a Freshman PG basket. If TO struggles, there wouldn't be much of a plan B at PG. That's not acceptable.

She's not a center or a point guard. Those are the biggest needs. Agara would be great, but resources need to be allocated to those positions first, and I doubt there's enough to go around and get her after securing the other two.

South Carolina wins games due to their athleticism. They're aren't very skilled. UCLA has taken away the paint, and they're getting back on defense on turnovers and rebounds. South Carolina can't do anything because they don't pass or shoot well. It's actually pretty pathetic.

South Carolina has no offense. They can't shoot at all. They rely on transition buckets and dribble drives to score. Don't turn it over, and cut off the slashing, and they cannot do anything. I'm convinced UConn played a bad game and would be much more competitive against UCLA.

Almost everyone in the portal will be blocked to transfer. Someone or someones will sue to overturn it and also ask for a temporary injunction. They will claim that the order is illegal citing statutes and recent SCOTUS decisions. They will say the order needs to be set aside before a trial on...

The right center for the Gophers probably isn't in the portal yet. Most teams can't win a Sweet 16 game and maybe not even a Round 32 game with Crooks. You can easily run her off of the court, crush her in a pick and roll, or go small and rain 3s on her. A good team would absolutely embarass her.

South Carolina was better. They missed open shots, and South Carolina played great defense. The offensive rebounding by South Carolina was also a big factor.
