PA's best friend is a preacher who got kicked out of multiple churches for grooming teenage girls when he was their youth pastor. Had it occurred in Minnesota, it would have been a felony.
Uecker might have been the single most entertaining announcer of all time. I loved listening to Brewers games at our cabin just to hear the stories he'd tell.
Is Grit still of the mindset that schools are following the revenue sharing and NIL "rules?"
That's precious if he believes that it's not a complete wild west free for all.
Larivee is one of the best in the business. I'm no Packer fan either, but he's a total pro.
PA is an untrained hack who fell into the job because he worked for the station and would work cheap. He's also a terrible person who hangs out with terrible people.
Just think, for a time, we had the two worst football play by play guys in the country in this market with Paul Allen and Dave Lee. If I ever wanted to have no freaking idea what was going on in a game, I could listed to these two.
It's a niche sport, and if the money is the same or close, it's a lot less stress to coach somewhere like Augustana (or WMU or any number of places) than it is at Minnesota, with a bunch of entitled boosters trying to tell you what to do.
1. St. Cloud isn't rural. It's a city of nearly 70k people.
2. I don't avoid white people, or black people, or purple people. I do try to avoid inbred redneck racist trash, and St. Cloud is full of those types.
I think you might be surprised who might compete. Some of those tiny NE liberal arts schools have a LOT of money and if they want to fund hockey in a big way, there are very wealthy alumni that can do so as opposed to large land grant schools that have to fund football teams.
