    What do we value?

I would be happy to become a serious championship contender while losing some of the positive off the field reputation the Gophers have build. I wouldn't want the Gophers to recruit players with major behavioral issues or keep players after major incidents but would be okay with them recruiting...

Special Teams Coach Bob Ligashesky will not be retained for next season.

I agree on an individual punt but if that's the strategy, the occasional big return should offset those minimal or negative returns over the course of the season. To call punt returning a "bright spot" I'd expect to see at least some bigger returns, or at least protecting the ball combined...

Special Teams Coach Bob Ligashesky will not be retained for next season.

I don't agree with Koi Perich being a bright spot on special teams. He has the one punt he nearly ran back for a TD but he also muffed 2 punts and his average punt return decreased by nearly a third compared to last year. Weston was also 12th in average punt distance in the conference of...

Anthony Smith announced he is coming back.

He's 10 sacks away from the team record and had 12.5 this year, good shot at breaking it if he stays healthy.

Who is your MVP in the Gophers Rate Bowl win?

I don't like our chances in OT with how bad our special teams are. Need to get aggressive trying to score in regulation.

3 short fields, negative 8 yards total. I can't understand how PJ doesn't see this as a problem.

Back to back short fields result in a combined negative 11 yards of offense. This offense is incompetent and all needs to be completely revamped.

Another short field, need to go forwards this drive. Defense has been great but the offense needs to do their part.

Why do you not just kick that out the back of the endzone? Defense has been strong, a few extra yards for a touchback is fine.

1st and 10 on their 37 ends in a punt, really poor situational football. At least the offense was moving.

Smart business move from Taylor to leave his options open on next year, he's been the entire offense today so it would be tough not to pay him what he wants.

PJ & Coyle shouldn't be surprised when tickets sales, donations, and NIL are down. It's hard for anyone to get excited when they play this poorly this often. The talent on the roster is much better than the play on the field.

2 yards per play and on pace for under 100 yards. Offense is on the level of the Iowa, Oregon, and Ohio State games.

    Nine Years of PJ's Offense

I kind of expected it just by watching them play but the drop off in rushing the past two years is huge. This year also included running up the score on one of the worst FCS teams in the country and there's a good chance we'd be under 100 a game if we swapped that out for another middle of the...

Minnesota Golden Gophers in the NFL - 2025

I would think he stays through at least next season based on how his contract is structured. He's getting the second most snaps out of receivers by a good margin but isn't getting a ton of targets and his injuries and missing Lamar Jackson for part of the season didn't help.
