He’s a different type of guard. Almost a power type game as his strength is in the lane.Both he and Mitchell the guard have disappeared for long stretches unfortunately this season. He’s been fun to watch last few games.

Patterson was the best guard on the floor today. Haven’t said that about a Gophers guard much this season.

He will end up on a staff somewhere and possibly land a mid major head job in five years if he’s lucky and have millions in the bank.

Defensive effort should embarrass Gophers

Basically a layup drill for Illinois. We have taken away the three to some extent but the defense has been bad.

Maybe it’s just me but shouldn’t Johnson be chewing on the refs. That was ridiculously bad no calls.

Remember the excitement some had after he committed? Fact was he’s not a D1 player. Lighting up the Gophers last year earned him a year in the Big Ten.

It helps to have what was easily the best player on the floor. Garcia is playing at all league level.

Penn State is terrible. The quality of play in the Big Ten is at an all time low.

Not very smart for a very experienced guard.

The future is bright with this extremely young Gophers squad.
