Happy for the win. The run game has gone from concern to disaster. If this team stays one-dimensional for the rest of the season, it will be very difficult to get to 6 wins.

Gophers needed to have a running game in order to even keep this game competitive. That's on the coaching staff and it's been a concern since last year.

The only way a Gophers team competes with a national championship quality Buckeyes team is if they have a veteran good/great QB, a not one dimensional offense (great OL), and a good defense. And that would only provide a chance. Those kinds of teams do happen to the Gophers, but we knew that...

I gave a D. I don't mind losing to Ohio State and I think a lot of things can be corrected with development of young players. D will get better. Passing game is likely going to get more As. However, and the players are not at fault here, but the running game gets an F.

At least it wasn't losing 63-10 vs Indiana...

We won! I know the grumps out there are going to nitpick this victory, but a win is a win.

We knew before the season that there were going to be growing pains due to inexperience (DC included). I was thinking 7 season wins but maybe 6 now.

Yup, I'm a little concerned on the OC and DC. Perhaps it was one of those blips, an away game with inexperience at key positions. I hope it was.

1 - I watched Cal vs Texas Southern and JKS was flat out bad in the first half and serviceable in the second. Cal hasn't played a defense with a pulse. They will be Sat. I am honestly not scared of JKS in the slightest. 2 - I think Cal's running game and defense are underrated. This is more...
