Time to look ahead.......what is your plan?

I don't know. I wasn't there. People overpay for things all the time. Considering the overall lack of draft assets on hand and the two month rental player hard to believe two players and two seconds doesn't get it done.

Time to look ahead.......what is your plan?

You are probably right. Then we get a reprise of 25-26. I'm not thrilled about trading a key piece at all. If the goal is to win a championship (and to get the public to pay for a new building) I'm not sure how else the wolves get out of this "good but not great" position. Can we count on...

Time to look ahead.......what is your plan?

If they are content with a fifth or sixth seed and a first or maybe second round exit, they tread water by getting medium value back for medium value players like Rudy and Randle. If they want to go for it they have to trade a player or players that everyone would want. Besides Ant, who would...

Time to look ahead.......what is your plan?

I think he could have gotten Ayo without the two players and all four seconds.

If that's true, it might be a wise move for him. He doesn't have many assets to maneuver with here (except the nuclear option-Ant) and he has comparatively resource poor owners.

2026 Second Round Playoff Thread: Minnesota vs San Antonio

Not surprisingly, the secondary ticket market for Friday night has softened considerably in the last 24 hours. Yesterday tickets in sec 109 were going for $734 each. Today they are $558. By Friday am I'm guessing in the $400's.

Time to look ahead.......what is your plan?

The answer isn't Giannis. Too old. The answer isn't a big haul for Randle, he's been shit since mid December and the league knows it. The answer isn't Berenger if they decide to trade Rudy. He's at least a year away from being a 10 minute/game player. The answer isn't firing Finch. He's...

The league seems determined to have a Wemby/OKC WCF. Probably will have Brothers and Foster for the next two games.

The non suspension really damages the credibility of the league. That and referees who are obviously not objective make games increasingly a semi mockery. The NBA is my favorite league in my favorite sport but it is getting more difficult to remain all in.

I think they suspend him Tuesday night and call every ticky tack foul on the wolves who will foul out multiple players and lose by eight. The series goes seven.

2026 First Round Playoffs Thread: Minnesota vs Denver

I was there. I kept waiting for Denver to go on a 15-2 run to break it open. The wolves became a psychological brick wall. There were obviously a million things that contributed to the win. I think the two things that emotionally broke Denver were Shannon's two dunks through the heart of...

Hope we don't get Foster Thursday night.

I hope the refs don't overreact tomorrow night out of fear of losing control and let the wolves play the kind of defense they've played in the last three games. The only two players who should be suspended are Jokic for starting the melee and Gordon for crossing center court.

If you had told me that Foster would be the lead ref, Ant would be in foul trouble all night, the wolves would shoot under 30% from three and would be outshot from the line 40-21, yet win by 17 without ever being in trouble, I'd almost start trusting ARod. No, can't go that far.

It could be any one of the wolves. I used Jaden and Rudy as examples because they are the least likely to walk away.

Have to disagree. One thing that never changes is teams looking for psychological motivation and any form of competitive advantage, real or imagined, trivial or non trivial. I wouldn't be surprised if the first time one of the wolves goes down the lane Thursday night he gets knocked on his...

Julius has to go. You can't have two guys who hold the ball and expect to win. I don't think Ant is going to make it through the series. He's obviously still injured. I said before the season that Ant would miss games this year due to the cumulative effect of overuse. The wolves did the...
