    Gopher portal visits and signings

I sure hope the WR from Auburn, the RB from Purdue, and the OT from Tenn turn out or this offensive haul looks pretty underwhelming as far as upside as well as even a baseline. Maybe we don’t have the budget, but would be nice to focus on more productive lower level guys if we can’t get...

Wetzel: How NIL, transfers and rev share brought the SEC back to the pack

I think it is the biggest contributor. Nick Saban would not dominate like he used to.

Official 2026 Roster Movement Thread - Who's In and Who's Out?

Luckily they’ve been about as bad as us with transfer WRs it seems.

I’d rather do that then go for the 3rd/4th wr from a g5 school hoping they can be your 3rd/4th wr at best.

Official 2026 Roster Movement Thread - Who's In and Who's Out?

If we are, it’s getting harder to believe we can make a step up that way.

I believe they could still be signed, but not before the 2026 season.

Well with the increased roster sizes it’s more normal this year. We only have a few more transferring out compared to last year and the year before, but we have more available spots to fill. I believe some of the churn is due to shedding most of the walk ons as well.

DL Xion Chapman commits to the Gophers

That’s interesting if he really wanted Coleman, Lanier, and Lyons to move on already.

DL Xion Chapman commits to the Gophers

I hope we aren’t adding guys through the portal that we hope can be a WR4/5. I’d rather go for upside and if he’s a complete bust let an inexperienced high school recruit step into that role.

DL Xion Chapman commits to the Gophers

I just don’t believe it’s a strategy of spreading NIL money around instead of investing in a few expensive guys by choice. I think it’s we can’t afford the big time guys. If we could we would go for them and also be adding a lot of cheap guys. I have a hard time believing it takes a bunch of...

    Gopher portal visits and signings

That’s hard to believe watching his highlights. Granted this is high school… https://m.youtube.com/results?sp=mAEA&search_query=t.j.+thomas+elon#bottom-sheet. That said speed isn’t everything. That highlight shown in the twitter post was against Duke, so we see he can make p4 guys miss.

Not sure about elite speed. Looks like nice elusiveness and good hands. I like adding an experienced rb to the group.

DL Xion Chapman commits to the Gophers

Probably have to look at a D2 or FCS guy if you want one that put up numbers, any fbs wr putting up numbers will be spendy. I much prefer guys like Perry Thompson over older FBS guys that have only had okay production. I’d rather gamble on upside over hoping you find your #3 or #4 wr.

No, but I don’t memorize every players number.

Is it? Or is it just filling out the roster? Not sure why’d you ever want to leave roster spots empty.

    Indiana a Team of Destiny?

Yeah feels like Indiana is a lock in the title game for some reason, no matter what the line says.

I’d prefer to have kept him, but I don’t think he’s a starting rb if your aspirations are for the program to make a step up.

    Indiana a Team of Destiny?

This year they proved they are real, last year they were good, but weren’t real competitive against other contenders.
