"I'll put up the money and we can go get Fernando [Mendoza]." Mark Cuban tells FOS that he provided the NIL money which allowed Indiana to sign QB

I have a hard time saying it’s all coaching them up when he didn’t coach many of them for more than a couple years. I think it’s more him identifying the talent and the rating services missing as they often do. The nfl draft showed us that it wasn’t just Cig getting guys to over perform and...

Drake incident poll. What's your opinion?

I don’t really get the people calling for a big public announcement about how this is being handled. Are the same people mad that the situation with Bryce Williams was handled similarly? All off field incidents are handled internally as much as possible, not saying Fleck doesn’t run a cleaner...

ESPN: Ranking the offseason for every Power 4 college football team (#9 in BT: Minnesota)

With improved cornerback play the secondary might be even better this year. His abilities as a kick/punt returner are a little overrated. He had the big mistake against Cal, and while he did have some big returns he never housed one, but then again maybe our return teams weren’t that good either.

    Spring Game

I’d be surprised if we don’t continue to throw to our tight ends. Geers only had 8 more catches than Biber last year. The tight ends had about 50 catches total last year. I think the TE targets were a result of Harbaugh’s offense, not a result of the particular players we had at that...

I think it’d be a great step for the program if we can start beating Iowa for some of their instate prospects. We’re seeing it in Wisconsin and we’ve clamped our borders down pretty well, next step Iowa!

All Things 2026 NFL Draft/NFL UDFA Signings

DT Albert Regis went in the third round from Texas A&M, he was briefly a Minnesota commit.

    Spring Game

Sounds like the transfer WRs showed out. Moore definitely looks the part physically, could we have a surprisingly good WR group? I was admittedly pessimistic about the transfer adds outside of Perry Thompson.

Oregon Dan Lanning: Koi is "football serious."

I’d prefer that too, but seems to be par for the course. Haven’t really seen any transfers openly state that money was the driving force. It’s perfectly reasonable, but a faux pas apparently.

Very few are really hating on him.

We have a new commit....Will Clausen, Offensive Line

I can’t recall that scenario ever happening. I don’t think Iowa has that kind of pulling power to wait that long to flip a kid.

    Geyer Commits

So was Meyer Swinney just a year ago. Edina is producing some decent talent pretty consistently in recent years.

The Mountain West is in serious dialogue to add FCS powerhouse North Dakota State as a football-only member starting this coming season

Aren’t you ineligible for any post season play for the first two years? Also a big assumption you’ll win all the other games, I doubt that happens.

So silly since they aren’t actually offering anything. It shouldn’t even be called an offer. I think I’d personally be put off by it if I were a recruit.

I question the legitimacy of the offer considering he just committed to UND.

More exciting than playing Southern Illinois, Southeast Missouri State and Saint Thomas.

These are college football's biggest spenders on private jet travel for the 2025 season ✈️ (Gophers 8th nationally at $618K)

I don’t know what it is but when the spending has been what it’s been decade after decade why would you think there’s so much more available to Fleck?

The assistant pay pool was below B1G average long before Fleck’s tenure, during his tenure, and I assume will continue to be so after his tenure. Not sure how it’s a Fleckite take, past and future coaches had, and will have the same handicap here unless something changes higher up.

    Shula Added To Staff

I get that, but was what he left enough to move us up the ladder much within the conference? Seems like we’ve ranked pretty low even when using the whole budget in the past.
