Can you name the player(s) that you don’t think we should have offered? Or have you just arbitrarily decided that three is the limit that should come from one high school?
Where did I say that the player must not be good? I said it’s weird to call it getting out recruited when if we aren’t offering a kid a scholarship then we probably aren’t recruiting him that hard.
It usually happens as players start going to camps during the spring/summer. It’s more rare for a player to blow up after their senior season, partly because recruiting classes are filled up pretty good by that time.
Love to see the focus on the closer to home recruits. I think the odds of them staying on the team longer is better than recruits from further away geographically.
Indiana had 8 drafted last year to our 1, the talent level is not super close. It’s a lot harder to put metrics on the coaching, but must be an extremely large gap there in your opinion.
