I think they’d get less money initially going to a lower level, but of course with a solid performance they’d have the potential to level up quickly.

Kollock might have the higher ceiling, but I don’t think that’s clearly the case. I wouldn’t sleep on Merdinger, he had some good offers out of high school, played at a strong high school program, and he did throw for 350 yards in his one start for Liberty.

I don’t think anyone is really hand wringing over him, especially with the addition of Merdinger. This is more just a discussion on what happens when a fairly high rated prospect that hasn’t played enters the portal.

I get what your saying, but there wasn’t much about last years offense to make me think that this group can run it back and get this program to move up a notch. It feels like we need an infusion of talent if we want to move beyond that 8-9 win ceiling.
