For the benefit of Richard Pitino and the Minnesota BB program, it is best a change is made. Give Richard and the program a chance to reestablish himself and itself.
Richard Pitino did a decent job the first year and a half when his father was sitting in the first row behind the bench and in talking distance to call out instructions. Once he didn't show up for games any quality of play was gone as well.
You need to add the fact Morgan had to deal with a very serious health condition that his father fought throughout 2020. This in itself would be enough to sidetrack anyone from overall job performance.
