My house is basically worth what the houses in my neighborhood are worth... with a few adjustments. Merkle must be in the same neighborhood as Crooks.

Coach Carly is a good coach... her track shows that. Their tournament seeding has improved from 13, 12, and 11 over the last few years. The first two years they lost by 30 to 40 points. This year they lost to ND by 19 and ND went on to defeat Vandy. With McCarthy on the team perhaps a 9 or 10...

"Do they have a hard time seeing the vision?" For some young people I've known, my own kids included, long term planning is >4 hours. They are near sighted. Also the proverb "make hay while the sun shines" applies.

Not sure... perhaps others can recall. One source I checked was 16th... I don't believe that. My guess was in bottom third. My hope is for the Gophers to finish in the top six every year, making the tournament with reasonable seeding 4 - 6. Occasionally, top 3 finish with serious crack at Elite 8.

Top half getting packed: USC, Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, OSU, Maryland, Illinois, Oregon, Nebraska... and not to forget Indiana, Washington, Michigan State, and UCLA. My first nine not in any particular order... believe someone posted earlier that we were picked 9th... before the portal opened.
