I can't think of any recent years where a player or players haven't gotten injured either for the season or at least several games. These will be the 'next lady up' opportunities for the freshmen to get minutes. They will undoubtably occur.

Her APG may have been lower if her UCF teammates weren't that good (missed their shots). I imagine it will rise when surrounded by GG, Mara, Tori and Woodson.

I wasn't ripping Glenn. She was a solid backup PG and provided valuable minutes for a Sweet 16 team. But if we'd just had Glenn as our starter and no Battle, we would not have had the season we just did. Hence we need to replace Battle with someone of her immediate abilities.

McCarthy would rather go to a school that most likely is always going to be a 1st round loser in the NCAA tournament (if they make it) than a Sweet 16 or better with her contribution? Cool story, Lana.

We really need to fill the PG and post with players equal to or better than the productivity we got from Battle and Hart. If we only get serviceable backup players like Tonga and Glenn, we will regress next season. And expecting any freshman to contribute as Battle did last year is a huge...

Throwing out rumors of high profile players going to very low probability schools probably generates a lot more clicks for them as compared to if they stated facts and more truthful scenarios. Money trumping journalistic integrity.

Wasn't it the supreme court that already ruled that it was unconstitutional to prevent students from transferring when they wanted and that they could be paid? Sound like the legal precedent is already established.

These are young women. Are we sure that they aren't willing to be coached and develop further? It is possible their current coaches didn't have what it takes to help them improve so they shrugged and focused on what they could already do well. Maybe after a conversation with Dawn they buy...
