Literally none of what you said makes sense. Nobody wants Ben to fail or thinks he isn’t a person. He’s has the worst record of any gophers coach. He also is making millions so if he is fired for having a terrible record and being a bad coach nobody should really feel bad for him or feel bad...

It isn’t who it is that we take joy in losing a job, it is what it is that is losing a job we take joy in. It is the worst coach in gophers history that will lose his job. If you can’t take joy in that I question whether or not you want better for the gophers.

That was a hope but he was a long ways off from that last year so completely unproven. Sounds more like wishful thinking to me.

I don’t think the incoming freshmen are guys that can be relied on for big minutes or scoring either. Even if Betts comes back next year that leaves 7 spots I believe. If Ben goes all seniors again I still would expect a worse year next year.

So for those that want him back is this what you want? More inexcusable non-conference losses and lousy play early in conference until they gel and still miss the NCAA tournament? I don’t see how that can get anyone excited or be something you want to continue.
