Nate is a nice player, not a great one. Good shooting touch and shot blocker, but for 6-11 gets less than his share of boards. I don’t know what level Tschetter will reach, but his offer list will match Reuvers before long.....and we should be on it.

Tschetter shoots better and is more mobile, so yeah, not on the same level.

Offer them all.Offer them early. There Is no better way to build rapport, then to say..we want you. they can’t sign until November...build some chemistry and figure out if you’re right for each other.

Carlson cannot shoot very well. if he learns to play his role, do the dirty work and rebound, he will be a plus player, but if he insists on playing on the perimeter (his current inclination) he will disappoint. Tschetter can be the whole enchilada. Greg Gard needs to get out more,

Carlson, IMHO. Is a role player....this guy has more potential.

He’s fine. Creates room with jab steps and step backs. Quick release. Not saying he’s an instant star, but he’s better than Ben Carlson already.

Roster building has been his everlasting shortcoming, and he lacks any staff members with local knowledge.

He should be offered. Period. Then spend time vetting each other to see if the fit is right. He would fit fine with Thompson. Two bigs who are capable of stepping outside to shoot. i don’t see a problem there. We would still need a point guard in that class. Unless Mashburn can surprise.

Walton played on a great AAU team with Garcia, Ben Carlson, Crowl, and two Eden Prairie kids. A team that lost one game last summer? I don't have his numbers handy, but they were good. Walton is much more physically imposing than Gabe....and a better prospect....and I really like Gabe.

I think Steve Cunningham was the post player on that team. 6-5, went on to play football for the Gophers. Still (I think) the only Blue Jay to play football at MN.
