Those three right there are all way above our league. I very much love that we have them on our team and I hope they love being Gophers. But they could easily all be playing for big time Southern or West Coast teams.

This is crazy talk. They are recruiting talent way above their expected level. Gopher softball Fans really need to understand the power realities of college softball and be pleased as to what this program has been able to provide to us fans.

Today is the beginning of the softball season. Use of this message board by the community of fans seems way down to me. That must say something.

And that so happens to be the measure that is applicable to a northern team like Minnesota; and therefore the only measure that matters in the stick and ball sports of ncaa college baseball and softball.

I feel zero emotional connection to UCLA and Washington. All those programs will do is deprive the Gophers of softball championships.

Got to spend one’s time with recruits they actually may come to your school. No sense wasting time on those that will not come anyway.

One thing seemed clear to me, opposing teams directed all of their attacks at Landfair this year. It was as if all the opposing coaches had the same scouting report and then worked off the same memo, serve to Landfair and attack Landfair. It’s like those opposition coaches knew something.

I think she was their second best player in terms of kill/point statistics. Good for Wenaas. I always knew she was a great person to have on the U of M campus and on the Gopher volleyball roster.

I feel bad for Landfair. I fear her leg injury permanently negatively effected her jumping explosiveness so that she will never be as explosive through her legs as she was as an 18-19 year old. But maybe I am wrong?

Three of the highest rated recruits coming out of high school in Gopher volleyball program history. As for me, I am ready for Wucherer to elevate her game to reach her potential as a Gopher.

The Gopher goal should be to work our way back up to where Purdue and Penn State are, fighting for third in the conference. Those fans that have hopes that we can compete against Nebraska and Wisconsin are deluding themselves.

Gopher pitchers better be ready to compete or else that weekend is going to have some 5-6 inning games.

I don’t know what you all have been complaining about with your posts on this message board all season… this Gopher team is great.

Pitcher Natalie Susa was getting a lot of hype early last Spring but she had an ACL tear while base running later in the Spring. I hope she fully recovers.
