Exactly. I take that as if you got “it”, you probably got “it” as a Freshmen. So let’s get those freshmen out there with the expectation that they play big. The Gophers don’t need to wait on them to develop.

I don’t know what Indiana or Kansas have to do with anything, but the state of Oklahoma is the annual host of the women’s college World Series. And Oklahoma is a helluva lot warmer in the months of February, March and April (core NCAA softball season months) as compared to Minnesota.

I am a “reasonable expectations” person, but Gopher fans should expect more than this out of the bats.

As of today, it looks to me like Sydney Schwartz is likely to be what would be termed our “ace” pitcher this year; and therefore likely to get the most innings in the circle for the Gophers this year.

No Gopher coach will ever win a Big Ten Championship starting next year now that the fools at the Big Ten brought in UCLA, Washington, and Oregon. This year is our last year for any hope at the championship.

What a great day for Gopher softball! We didn’t get run-ruled by Washington and we beat Georgia Tech. Fans should be out-of-their-minds happy with how this team performed.
