If I'm Shelton, I'd come up with a creative way to get myself kicked out of each and every game. What are they going to do? Fire him?

If it never should have started, that's on the Royals. The home team makes the call if a game is postponed or delayed before the lineups are exchanged.

    Baseball cards Sets

That's the scam of card trading that annoys me more than anything else. If you have a Nolan Ryan card from 1972 that hasn't been graded, it's worth about 100 bucks. But if you send it away to have someone grade it and it comes back as a 9 or 10, it's now worth 10 grand or more (assuming...

Buxton just tagged up and advanced to 2nd base on a fly ball to center. Very much in favor of Shelton's philosophy that this team needs to be much more aggressive on the bases.

I wonder if they are just being cautious because they're locked somewhere in the 3-6 range and don't seem concerned with who and where they get matched up with. I've been looking at going to today's game, but prices are sky high everywhere. Finally figured out that's likely due to an Ant...

Injuries are certainly a part of Lewis failing to progress. I'd wager another part of it is that his entire Twins career, he played for a manager who wasn't real big on pushing players to get better or hold them accountable when the fail or make mistakes.

To be fair, there's 4 lefties on the bench, so they had no choice.

Odd having a national game on NBC in the middle of the day. Big spending Mets already in a 2 run hole.

Sad that some of you are bad fans and quit on the team instead of sticking it out through the end. Disclaimer: I'd have turned it off and given up too, but I was so ticked off at that point that there was no way I was falling asleep any time soon, so I just sat there and stewed.

Opening day lineup out. Royce Lewis is batting 8th against a lefty. It's too early to call him a bust, but he really should be in his prime right now, leading this team.
