You nailed it. Well said. His pass catching ability is off the charts for a running back. He appears to be pretty good in pass protection too. Throw in the fact that he's an elusive, effective runner and Darius is quite valuable, even when you consider his injury history.

Problem: You have a 22-year old QB who is really struggling. Solution: Trade for a 23-year old QB who has always struggled. As the kids say: "Yeah, no."

Do great wide receivers make average QBs look great? Or... Do great QBs make their receivers look great? Which is it, again? I always forget.

It's great to have our all-world wide receiver locked up with a top-tier contract. Priority One: accomplished. It might be a good idea to figure out the QB situation, though. We might need someone who can actually get the ball to our all-world wide receiver.
