I have been impressed and pleased with Wucherer supporting her teammates this year. She was a part of almost every huddle on the bench and after the games. I assume that she was supportive of her team in practices and off the court.

I agree. Last year, I thought Battle was trying to be the point guard and the go-to shooter. She has a great mid-range jumper and can get to the basket. I felt she should have spent more time running the offense and spending time setting up and making her teammates better. This year, I think...

Gophers snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Disappointing. They will eventually self-destruct. Coach should have used her timeout earlier to advance the ball and hopefully go to the free throw line instead of giving up an easy steal and layup.

Congratulations Gophers on getting a #4 seed and hosting the first two rounds. Hard work and perseverance pays off.

I hope the Gophers can host the first two rounds, too. But, I am pessimistic. I think they are on the borderline for hosting. The NCAA knows that they will get a bigger crowd and more money at the PAV. However, I think there also is pressure to pass the opportunity to host around.

Disappointing loss. The Gophers were tight and played in slow motion. Badgers were in high gear and out-hustled the Gophers. Terrible receiving and passing. The Badgers knew exactly what the Gophers were going to do--good scouting and game plan. Gophers are too predictable.

Holy Moly Batman, Minnesota State swept the Gopher Women's hockey team. Saturday was a bad day for Gopher fans: Women's and Men's hockey, Men's basketball, and football teams lose. Sometimes, I think that they should not let the women athletes drink the same water, or whatever, as the men.
