Tomes is a pure shooter, not sure of the Carr comparison. Carr was a decent shooter but more ball dominant player and all around scorer. Tomes will be able to play off the ball, running off screens, etc. He'll need to work on his body and am not sure of his passing/pick and roll ability yet...

Yea, Tyson is a really good player, but he isn't Dawson Garcia and never will be. The hope is that options 2-4 can make up the difference with a balanced attack. Omot coming back and playing well would be huge...but no idea on his status, does anyone?

That's really the crux of our issues. Tyson is a high quality player. We need some combination of Asuma Willis and JCJ to step up in a big way.

With the way we'e played since the 2nd half of the Mizzou game, I'd gladly take 2-2 right now. We also haven't won a neutral site game in at least a couple years. Just going from memory that includes the last 2 BTT games, the Orlando tourney last season, the San Fran game at the Warriors arena...

Every school is doing the same thing, and there wouldn't be some magical competitive advantage if we opted out of doing it ourselves. Mind you, I agree we should just stick to our classic uniforms (maybe mixing up helmets and maroon and gold pants). Classic colors are always better.

Every single fan base in the country, regardless of success, has a weekly uniform chat amongst the fan base. I know this is hard to believe for some of you but this isn't some weird MN phenomenon.
