No, it's interesting. I've been anticipating this for years. It's a biggish school, the flagship school for its state, lots of football success, with a rabid and irrational fanbase. I've thought for years that their natural eventual fit is the Big 12.

And Grove is the one doing the swatting. Generally speaking, defensive effort doesn't show up on a scoresheet, but it makes a big difference.

Grove can dunk it and hang on the rim, and he can make layups under the basket. Those count as scoring. Plus he's a hustle monster who puts himself in the right places with consistency.

Grove stood in the gap tonight. Shinholster got lots of minutes and he's coming along. Asuma is going to be excellent. I can't wait to see who we bring in for next year.
