    Malick Kordel Commits

Yeah, I think he starts most games but doesn't finish most games.

I don't disagree with you as of right now, but I am irrationally optimistic about his potential improvement. The reason (other than being a delusional Gopher fan) is that he showed so much at times last year. He did it in a way that completely surprised me. When he was in HS, I thought he was...

    Gopher-centric Portal Short List

100% this. Reynolds has an incredibly unique skill set. He is a large guard who can handle the ball, defend and cannot shoot at all. You don't look for a player in Reynolds' mold. You look for players who can replace the things he provided.

He's 7'2", it looks like he can catch a pass, and doesn't look like it hurts him to run. That's pretty much all you need to be a somewhat effective player.

This got me thinking, when was the last time we had a tall and athletic post player? Dawson was good, but certainly didn't play much above the rim. Last year, we were rolling out a 6'7" C.

I may have remembered it wrong, but I believe Anders Lee would have been rated pretty high if he didn't focus on hockey. He was a really good HS QB.

I don't think anyone thinks this. Whether or not these are the guys you'd offer, it should not be difficult to understand why some people would like them. Nolan Groves was a FR who was playing on an absolutely stacked Texas Tech team. Pointing to his stats in college is silly (IMO). There...

The Athletic: Why the cost of college football roster building won’t slow down anytime soon

For players' salaries, IMO, no. Employer should pay the employee and charge me for the product.

The Athletic: Why the cost of college football roster building won’t slow down anytime soon

Why would you think that? They went 11-2 the previous season with Kurtis Rourke as their QB. They likely beat Notre Dame if Rourke isn't injured. Mendoza went to Indiana for the money (like all transfers) and because they were a legit contender. It was an ideal situation for a good QB and...

You can't trust someone who chooses to move to Iowa. John Wayne Gacy moved to Iowa. I hope Kyan does not act like John Wayne Gacy.

How does doing something that pisses people off that brings way more attention to you "wash" your crimes? That doesn't make sense to me. The difference is that I don't believe they did it to wash their crimes and I don't believe the people who are pretending that is why they don't like LIV. I...

They do this with all of their entertainment investments. Do you think they're going to make their money back on everything they've dumped into the WWE? They've put money into a ton of different sporting events that will never turn a penny of profit (MMA, WWE, Racing, Horseracing, Tennis)...

    All things golf

Why? The only difference is that it impacts your life less. You would actually have to give up things you enjoy. You're supporting them financially. The only difference is that it would actually force you to make a sacrifice rather than just pound your chest with superficial morality of...

No, that LIV was created as a diversion to Khashoogi. I know Khashoogi was murded by the Saudis. I have never heard that people believed that LIV was a distraction from Khashoggi. That seems like the worst possible way to get people to forget about something - - launch a high profile...

Those corporations I listed have significant investments from the exact same fund that created LIV. I just haven't seen the backlash to anything else the Saudi family has made significant investments.

I think people say that but I don't think it's true. The public fund has major investments in EA Sports, Nintendo, Heathrow Airport, Uber, Salesforce, Google, Meta, Disney, Microsoft, etc. People use those products without blinking. IMO, I think it's because LIV was seen as a disrupter. It...
