Describe the Gophers basketball season in 1 sentence

Take away the ellipses and just leave a period and that would be a sentence, no? Has a noun and a verb, plus some other stuff I knew the name of when in high school english.

    Jett Feeney, Moorhead qb, commits

And the other one redshirted, so I'm not sure how someone can say he wasn't good.

How much is the University of Minnesota paying athletes? They refuse to say.

It might be because you don't want freshman high school athletes to start making a list that is ordered on how much schools pay their players. Since they don't know, they might listen to us and eventually come here for the "life program". If they see that we are near the bottom, then they...

How much is the University of Minnesota paying athletes? They refuse to say.

I'd agree if they were handing out money from tax dollars - then us taxpayers deserve to know. But how they spend money they earn themselves, that's not public info imo.

How much is the University of Minnesota paying athletes? They refuse to say.

Only for a newspaper trying to get that data, most likely to use it in a negative context (i.e how dare the men's football players get $x while such and such gets $y). I personally don't care at all what the players are getting.

    Michigan fires Moore

Sure, but Spygate was in clear violation of an NCAA rule. That's the difference. Is there a specific rule where you can show me the rule number and text, that states doubling a staffer's salary is not allowed. Or where the NCAA says paying for abortions is a violation? You might be disgusted...

Then I'd suggest starting at the top of page 1 and reading until it gets off track. You'll learn plenty. ;)

    Buffs - Coach Prime

My mistake, I thought the discussion was about getting him to Colorado, not the extension. I agree with your post.

    Michigan fires Moore

Not sure why you'd think the NCAA would care, this didn't involve any athletes.

    Buffs - Coach Prime

Really? How many of those wins would another coach have gotten without Shadeur and Travis Hunter? I'd doubt they have 8 wins over the past 3 years with Sanders coming to town.

Good call! Curtis Dunlap was the 3rd. Damn impressive considering the school.

At least the OP got both o's instead of just one. Progress. Probably easier for you guys to change the name of a city we consider to be practically in North Dakota than it would be for people from the metro to care about how it's spelled. ;)

    Jett Feeney, Moorhead qb, commits

You're confusing Coach Fleck with Coach Kill. Coach Kill was the one who didn't care if his QB's could do that or not.

Well, just checked the 2010 roster on Gophersports.com. Keanon Cooper, So. Skyline Da'Jon McKnight Jr. Skyline Spencer Reeves So. Skyline Troy Stoudermire Jr. Skyline So it looks like 2 each from Dallas Skyline for 2 years in a row.

The closest I can come to would be Coughlin and Winfield as freshman and Cashman as a sophomore for Eden Prairie. Obviously not the same class with one being a sophomore.

ESPN: California school hired a coach, but police say he moonlighted as a pimp

You kinda make an interesting point. I'd like to assume that someone doing these things won't ever need to apply for a job again (life in prison) but man, can you imagine if you had that on your record and wanted to apply for a job??? Just the look you'd get. Then again, someone doing these...

ESPN: California school hired a coach, but police say he moonlighted as a pimp

Especially the way he treated Miss Elizabeth, having her hold the ropes for him and stuff, threatening her with violence, etc.

At some point the lawyer is just gonna shake his head and tell this asshole to just plead guilty. There's like a handful of different things he should spend the rest of his life in jail for, not just one.
