All Things Immaculate Grid-related (MLB, NBA, NFL)

My Newbie today happens to be Billy Pierce, who really had a standout MLB career mostly with the White Sox, accomplished enough to be in the Hall of Really Good. He does have his jersey #19 retired by the Sox and received consideration once by the HoF Veteran's Cmte. A 7 Time All Star, racked...

How do Iowa, Wisconsin and Nebraska do this year?

I'm conflicted on what I want for Badgers football in 2026. Obviously I would hope they go 0-12 or 1-11 with the win over Iowa. Another part of me hopes they are just good enough to keep their HC around another season, but still not great.

It's been a minute since the last Twins Grid Alert. https://www.baseball-reference.com/bio/MN_born.shtml The MLB Players born in Minnesota has yielded some low hanging fruit, as Tom Quinlan was added to my Newbie roster. Twins/Mets selection was triggered by some clickbait article I saw...

The Saints already played today, 11am start in St Paul. Wallner "upped" his AAA average to .188 by going 1 for 4. No Lewis in the line-up. Must have been a delay on the Green Line. https://www.milb.com/gameday/storm-chasers-vs-saints/2026/05/19/815749/final/box

The answer here should always be Chicago Black Hawks OR Dallas Stars. I don't hate Vegas. Not even a little, expect the fuggly gold unis.

I realize this is sarcastic, but players are not allowed to be traded for Future Draft Picks in MLB. That is could be changed with the new MLB Labor agreement. Additionally, while the current MLB Draft is 20 Rounds this is likely going to be reduced, possibly substantially.

I wonder if there was any consideration to sending Lewis down even lower than AAA. The SKOR North Crew discussed it yesterday, I could have seen merit into building his confidence and retooling his game.

Bummer for the Twins short term fortunes. I suspect that greatly minimizes his chances of being traded, unless he recovers quickly and even then picks up where is left off at the plate. Looking at 2 months approximately for game action.

Well the Caddy (Austin Gaugert) was yelling at his "boss", Higgo. https://youtube.com/shorts/HlRKJttejTI?si=iwifb4QaaG0HHS16 Of course if I were in the same position, I would hope like hell my underling was "yelling" at me (respectfully) to get my ass in gear, but that's just me.

In light of additional information with Higgo now sacking his caddy, I have done a 180 on the issue. https://www.espn.com/golf/story/_/id/48810250/report-garrick-higgo-splits-caddie-pga-mistake Perhaps the caddy it better off looping for someone else.
