I'm not so sure that matters much. I think there are many wealthy Suth'nas who love throwing their money towards their favorite university's football program. Up here we're a little more frugal and reserved with our money. Just my humble opinion.

You bet! We also had a lady from our town that would read the same type of news on the local radio station. She would just call people randomly and ask what they've been up to and if they had any "news". My mom would gladly share anything.

I watched some sloppy basketball, a bunch of missed free throws, two excruciatingly long video reviews, and a bone-headed play on defense. When it went into the 2nd OT I turned the TV off and went to bed knowing the Gophers luck...

Sorry, it's the Christmas season and I got caught up in the spirit of giving receiving.

At least 9 wins a year and throw in a 10-11 win season in there every few years. Beat Wisconsin and Iowa every year. Sadly, bowl game appearances and bowl game victories don't mean anything anymore, so you gotta throw in a CFP appearance at least once every 7-8 years.

Being a college coach, assistant coach, position coach, etc. seems like it would be more stressful now than coaching in the NFL. I dunno.
