I have as good a chance as LR97 to make an NFL team. Maybe made three high impact plays in his entire five year career. Geers and Brockington are probably the two best players. Geers will make a team as an UFA.
Solid communication skills matter to a degree in all sales situations, large and small. Seldom have I seen an individual at the stature of Coyle that struggles to speak as much as he does; and who disappears from notice for months at a time.
PJ needs guys who are excellent with the X’s and O’s while he does a great job being in the face of the program. Coyle can probably do the admin type work but is a buffoon in public. If we had a HC and AD who were really good at both for once that would be a refreshing change.
Actually, this past year we had two games that were good football watching Wisconsin and Nebraska, our first and last games against shitty opponents were OK and the rest of them sucked.
Cignetti is on track to being one of the GOATs in college football coaching. PJ is in the bottom 10 percentile P4 relating to game day prep and game day coaching. We are pretty unwatchable more than half the time Indiana plays to destroy the opponent and is great fun to watch.
Apples and...
I’d much rather play them than some of the non-conference games we have had recently and have coming up. Piss pound them a couple of times and call it a day. As it is, we have a losing record against them overall, and frankly could very easily be winless.
Your genius take on Morgan doesn’t hold water. He was great one year, below average otherwise. Mo gets a lot of credit but not enough. Many of PJ’s deficiencies were hidden by him and now couldn’t be more obvious week to week.
