STrib: Gophers football players hope to catch NFL teams’ eyes at annual pro day

I have as good a chance as LR97 to make an NFL team. Maybe made three high impact plays in his entire five year career. Geers and Brockington are probably the two best players. Geers will make a team as an UFA.

Multiple media outlets list Mark Coyle as a candidate to replace Mitch Barnhart who is retiring as Kentucky AD

Solid communication skills matter to a degree in all sales situations, large and small. Seldom have I seen an individual at the stature of Coyle that struggles to speak as much as he does; and who disappears from notice for months at a time.

    Jett Feeney, Moorhead qb, commits

The kid is a baller and has a skill set we haven’t seen much around the program.

Multiple media outlets list Mark Coyle as a candidate to replace Mitch Barnhart who is retiring as Kentucky AD

PJ needs guys who are excellent with the X’s and O’s while he does a great job being in the face of the program. Coyle can probably do the admin type work but is a buffoon in public. If we had a HC and AD who were really good at both for once that would be a refreshing change.

STrib: Could the Gophers find a way to duplicate Indiana’s football success?

Actually, this past year we had two games that were good football watching Wisconsin and Nebraska, our first and last games against shitty opponents were OK and the rest of them sucked.

    The next great Fleck team

Commentary back to some folks who hint at PJ being some kinda savior of the program.

    The next great Fleck team

Or 2016 at 9-4 and 5-4 in conference.

STrib: Could the Gophers find a way to duplicate Indiana’s football success?

Cignetti is on track to being one of the GOATs in college football coaching. PJ is in the bottom 10 percentile P4 relating to game day prep and game day coaching. We are pretty unwatchable more than half the time Indiana plays to destroy the opponent and is great fun to watch. Apples and...

ESPN: Source: Cignetti's salary now averages $13.2M through 2033

Commie? Pay for performance he’s probably worth more considering his Herculean effort.

The Mountain West is in serious dialogue to add FCS powerhouse North Dakota State as a football-only member starting this coming season

Three months ago they beat St. Thomas 62 to 7. They are much closer to us than St. Thomas is to them.

The Mountain West is in serious dialogue to add FCS powerhouse North Dakota State as a football-only member starting this coming season

I’d much rather play them than some of the non-conference games we have had recently and have coming up. Piss pound them a couple of times and call it a day. As it is, we have a losing record against them overall, and frankly could very easily be winless.

    Spring Game 2026 - April 25th

25 percent chance this actually goes as announced. I hope it actually takes place. It was always one of the highlights of my year.

1 burning issue for each Big Ten team as they head toward spring football (Minnesota — Can Gophers cash in on Darius Taylor’s return?)

He’s a game changer when able to play and or play at full speed. Seems like maybe 1/3 of the games since he’s been here qualify in that category.

Gophers QB comitt transfering high schools

Your genius take on Morgan doesn’t hold water. He was great one year, below average otherwise. Mo gets a lot of credit but not enough. Many of PJ’s deficiencies were hidden by him and now couldn’t be more obvious week to week.

    Fleck Signs New Contract!

This season was a dud. There were three fun games to watch otherwise the season was kind of like nails on a chalkboard.
