I had a coach call a timeout after one of our guys missed a wide open 3 off the side of the backboard. Kid said “I was wide open and you said to always take the open shot” and the coach looks him dead in the eye and says “I should have been clear that the rule didn’t apply to you” 🤣

Someone should tell Asuma the reason he is always open for 3s is because he can’t shoot.

Games like this give me hope for this era. The way they play, cut, pass, defend, etc. This team lacks talent, size and depth. But they are enjoyable to watch.

FDU shots 37/38.5/66.7 in the first half. I know we suffered through the Ben Johnson era but that is far from lights out.

I know FDU sucks but Asuma hoisting 10 threes doesn’t seem like a strong game plan.
