Yes, but more existing players leave now because they don't have to sit out (which improves their transfer opportunities). That's how you can take significantly more transfers while keeping freshman recruiting pretty steady.

That field goal was for a tie. We don't know how the overtime would have gone although we did win both of our overtime games this season. Also, why would the Gophers at #40 move into the top 30 by virtue of beating #39 in overtime?

We've discovered that this team can give us close, competitive games with most teams in the league. What we don't know so far is how many of those close, competitive games they can win. As expected, overtime games aren't kind to this team because of its depth issues.

True, although in some ways the unproven receiver, Smith, may have been the best by the latter part of the season. Tracy had a good year. Loya was utilized less than expected (10 catches for 61 yards). Biber was a good pickup. Wish he had another year.
